Travel Quoter

The challenge

Travellers booking trips had no easy way to compare offers from trusted agencies, they bounced between agents, inboxes, and phone calls, and rarely knew if they were getting a fair deal. Travel Quoter wanted to turn that scattered, low-trust process into a single marketplace where verified agencies compete for the traveller.

What we did

We designed and built the marketplace end to end: a Next.js front end for travellers and a NestJS backend powering quote requests, agency verification, and ratings. A traveller submits one request and receives personalised quotes back from multiple vetted agencies, with curated trip inspirations and trending offers surfacing the best options. We integrated Booking.com and Amadeus so live inventory and pricing flow straight into the experience.

The outcome

Travel Quoter now runs as a working two-sided marketplace: travellers get competing, personalised quotes in one place, and verified agencies get qualified, intent-rich leads instead of cold enquiries. The verification and ratings layer makes trust the default rather than a gamble.
